El gobierno de Honduras, a través de La Comisión Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (Conatel) anunció anoche que se ha iniciado un procedimiento de sanción contra Canal 36 por supuestas infracciones a la Ley Marco del Sector de Telecomunicaciones. Según el comunicado, el proceso de sanción se inicia en “virtud de existir indicios de que las infracciones en que se presume ha incurrido dicho operador pueden ser constitutivas de delitos financieros, las cuales involucran a varias instituciones bancarias, no solamente a Banco Continental”. Conatel ha ordenado que el propietario de Canal 36, Esdras Amado López, emita su pronunciamiento, en el plazo de cuatro días a partir de la fecha.
